Who this is

The least mysterious author in the dataset. Bobby Lee co-founded BTCC, the first Bitcoin exchange in China, ran it until the 2018 acquisition, and founded Ballet in 2019 to sell cold storage wallets you don't have to set up. The three puzzles are Ballet wallets. Each one has a BIP38 encrypted key printed on it and the passphrase is somewhere on the physical card. He posted photos.

One fell in a week. Two are still funded. That's a decent advert for the product, which is presumably the point.

What the record says

Every biographical fact comes from one page, the About page on ballet.com, because it's his company's own account of his career and it's more detailed than anything else. It names BTCC, the BTCC Mint coins with their 8,600 BTC, and the Las Vegas headquarters. The fourth fact is the X thread where the puzzles went up, dated from the post itself.

He's a public person with a public career, so the record is fuller than most here. It still only carries what a page says. Nothing from interviews, nothing from memory.
