bitcointalk.org/index.phpWho this is
A BitcoinTalk account. Registered in December 2015, four posts in total, then nothing. The record knows the handle, the profile and one very short thread.
On January 12, 2019 at 10:33 UTC it posted the Natasha Otomoski puzzle. One question, two lines of rules, a signature and a txid. 1 BTC was already on the address. Three minutes later the account was last seen. That's a mic drop.
Who was blockladder, though?
Nobody knows. The thread had its suspects. morvillz7z was sure watashi-kokoto was blockladder all along. SirVladimir and GBT_User wondered whether the author took the prize back. None of that is on the record, because none of it has a source beyond a guess. The signature proves one thing only: whoever posted the question held the key.
What the record says
Two facts. The thread opener, for the question and the signed prize. The forum profile, for the dates and the post count. The dataset holds 1 of theirs. Will there be a second one? akkort waited for it. Seven years on, still nothing.
