Who this is

A Reddit account with a number for a name. It posted one thing that matters here: the full route through Born to Be Wild, the first Smith, Lyle & Moore hunt.

It wasn't a solo run. The post says "we", and another commenter writes "I was part of the crew that solved this". That fits the band's own advice for the next hunt. Every finalist so far had been a group of friends.

What the write-up gives

Everything. The text after the end of the album cover PNG. The pin to the secret museum. The Apollo phrases at the key checks. The Morse in the alternative mix, cancelled against an inverted upload. A binary riddle, an email to the band, a gateway, a ticket. Then the twelve words and the password supernova.

The honest bits are the best part. "I'm not entirely sure what the solution is here." "I just guessed the seed words." one giant step was typed "half-jokingly", and it worked. Ever won a race by guessing?

What the record says

One fact, from the write-up itself. The claim went out at 07:33 UTC on August 18, 2021. The post followed that evening, saying the group solved it "last night". The record names no address for the solver, because nothing on the chain ties one to this account.
