The author thought it was a decent hoax. Google "reusable bitcoin" and you get pages about reusable addresses. Good trap, right?

RPOW

Not for u/mooncritic. They had read about RPOW a few days earlier. Hal Finney's reusable proofs of work, an older shot at private internet cash. The TOMI field is proof of work.

The post went up at 07:58:29 UTC. The funding confirmed at 08:06:13, and the claim confirmed in the same block. Solve time on the chain: zero.

mooncritic's secret? Reading Satoshi's old posts and the Nakamoto Institute for fun. u/puzzleponky landed on Hal Finney's Wikipedia page and almost had it too. The author promised something harder for block 25.
