Fibonacci, allegedly

June 1, 2019. "We use three Fibonacci numbers. One, zero, and two. What does this mean?" A TOMI field again, digits 457, a and 4.

Players dug into Fibonacci. u/Quantris was "pretty convinced about the method". The method was wrong. The Fibonacci part was a hoax.

Block 102

The first hint said it straight: "Not about Fibonacci. First word of TOMI field is total."

One, zero, two is 102. The first run had 77 blocks, and this is block 25 of the second one. 77 plus 25 is 102. So the solution is 77 + 25, spaces and all, and the TOMI field is total number of blocks.

The claim confirmed at 04:30:15 UTC on June 2, a bit over a day after funding. u/Randomiser won and posted the string. They had the idea the day before and only needed the TOMI hint.

u/reddeneer asked for the number of words in a TOMI field earlier next time. Fair. Four words of TOMI is a lot to guess.

The Fibonacci stuff was a hoax, if you avoided falling for that, it was just a matter of noting that this block 25 is actually already block 102 and finding the TOMI field.
