Five words, five vowels
May 14. "Five words." One space between them, no period. MD5 prefix e7a. No TOMI, no link. The author checked the entropy and thought it was safe.
u/BrainForceOne had it in 25 minutes: bat bot bit bet but. How? Block 49 of the first run used hat hot hit. They'd already wondered whether it extends to every vowel. "So I had the solution in my mind before block 5 was posted." Sixth try.
The author's favorite detail: the "bit" in Bitcoin works with almost every vowel. Only Y is missing.
Stuck in the mempool
Then the money got stuck. The author sent the funding transaction ten minutes before posting, with the default fee. It didn't confirm. BrainForceOne's claim spent that unconfirmed output, also with a low fee, from a phone.
Hours later BrainForceOne wrote that someone tried a double spend with a 2 mBTC fee. Can't trust people, right? The double spend didn't land. Both the funding and the claim confirmed in the same block, at 21:58:48 UTC. So the chain says the block was solved in zero seconds. Technically correct.
The claim pays 1Thanksg9t4MRoCH2CM3cArWq26JiNvMY, and BrainForceOne says it's theirs. The author: "Nice vanity address there :)"
