An almost perfect anagram
July 12, 2019. Another 77 mBTC block. The cross sum would be 13, unlucky, so it's 77 again, like in the first run. The question: Satoshi is an almost perfect anagram of which name? Format [solution] TOMI [TOMI], digits f47. No partial hashes, it's a big block.
Not solved at sight. Without the TOMI field, says the author, brute force would have taken it by now.
Thomas
The answer is Thomas. And the TOMI field is Hal Finney's full name, as Wikipedia gives it: Harold Thomas Finney II. Hal again. u/puzzleponky found it with Wikipedia and a little help from block 54.
The claim confirmed at 23:46:22 UTC on July 12, 49 minutes after the post. Someone claimed puzzleponky was the author in disguise. "Try Occam's razor", replied u/Quantris.
u/Randomiser reminded everyone that "almost anagrams" were once a joke in the first run. The author had half forgotten. "One of my favorite moments of the whole experience."
