Twenty-one ones
June 26, 2019. The post starts with an apology for block 49 and its leaked TOMI field. No extra prize for that mistake, though. Then the question: 111111111111111111111. Twenty-one ones. Digits c32, 8 and 64.
Just a number? Not quite.
The checksum
Twenty-one ones are a valid Bitcoin address, almost. A block explorer completes it to 1111111111111111111114oLvT2. The missing part is the checksum. So the answer is 4oLvT2, and the TOMI field is address checksum. The author found the trick in an old Bitcointalk post about address checksums.
u/BrainForceOne explained the solve right after the claim confirmed, at 06:51:06 UTC, under three hours after the post. The claim paid their 1Thanksg9t4MRoCH2CM3cArWq26JiNvMY again. "This one was a good one", wrote another player. Hard to argue.
