## Who this is

Corey Phillips writes Bitcoin wallets for a living. His GitHub bio says Software Developer at Synonym.to and the pinned repositories are Bitkit and its Lightning bindings. Before that he wrote Moonshine, a React Native wallet that started life as Bitbip. BitImage is a side project from 2019: a web page that hashes any file into a BIP39 seed. He published it as part one of three, funded a kitten photo to prove the point, and the [two puzzles](https://puzzles.agntn.dev/collections/bitimage) are that photo with and without a passphrase.

There was an audio puzzle too, in January 2020. It lasted four days.

## What the record says

The GitHub profile is the source for what he does now, the two Medium posts are the sources for the two puzzles he ran, and the Moonshine repository is the source for the wallet. He publishes under his own name everywhere, so the record does too. The alias is the X handle, which drops a letter of the middle name.
